Rockstar Games has pushed out yet another server-side update for GTA Online, this time targeting a fresh batch of bugs plaguing The Kortz Center Heist finale. The fix arrived alongside the Cayo Summer Special Event Week, which runs through August 5th and includes an End of Summer Giveaway, and lands just days after the previous round of finale-focused hotfixes.
This is now the second background patch in short succession aimed at cleaning up issues introduced with the Kortz Center Heist update, part of a broader pattern of post-launch fixes Rockstar has been rolling out since the DLC dropped. Background updates don't require a download — they're applied server-side — and have become a routine part of the aftermath following major GTA Online content drops.
What Got Fixed

According to patch notes published by Rockstar Support for July 30th, the update addresses a long list of finale-specific problems, including:
Guards being alerted with no apparent trigger during the finale
The hedge maze guard near the sewer exit alerting others when stunned
A cutscene delay when entering via the skylight
Guards being alerted by player noise inside the hedge maze
CCTV dialogue continuing to play after the system was disabled by EMP
A moving camera becoming hidden during the mission
Guard blips showing a shorter detection range on the minimap than intended
The CCTV footage deletion prompt appearing even after footage was already deleted
Players respawning near the Kortz Center despite dying elsewhere
NOOSE agent armor being tougher than intended
Players in disguise still getting spotted by cameras at the loading bay entrance
Security room guards being alerted too easily
A guard spawning behind players who enter through the staff entrance
Outside of the heist itself, the patch also fixes an issue in the Mission Creator where prop spawning options failed to reappear after returning from Test Mode.
More Patches Likely on the Way
These fixes come on top of the sizeable list of bugs already addressed in the full 1.73 Kortz Center Heist patch notes. Given how frequently background updates have been rolling out over the past couple of weeks, more are likely on the way as Rockstar continues ironing out issues from this summer's DLC.
