Rockstar Opens The GTA 6 Merch Store: Tees, Caps, Zippos And More Are Live Now
Rockstar Games has launched its official Grand Theft Auto VI Collection, a new line of apparel and collectibles available now through the Rockstar Store. The drop was announced in a Rockstar Newswire post on Thursday, October 8. It follows the Goodtime State – Vice City Collection reveal on September 24, which drew plenty of debate. Where that box came with a roughly $400 price tag, this collection is built around everyday wearables and small collectibles. Tees Rockstar is offering heavyweight cotton tees in black, blue and pink, with designs featuring either the VI logo or the classic Rockstar Games logo. There are also Goodtime State and Macca the Gator tees, the latter tying into the TV mascot that appeared in the Vice City Collection. Hats The Flexfit caps are stretch-fitted cotton, with palm trees nested inside the VI logo. The original Rockstar baseball cap also returns in GTA VI-inspired colors. Both are available to pre-order, and the colorways run blue, pink and black. Collectibles and accessories A chrome metal keychain, laser-etched with the Rockstar Games logo on one side and the VI logo with palm trees on the other A Vice City and GTA 6 branded money clip A Zippo lighter carrying the Rockstar Games and Vice City logos Tote bags and sticker packs More to come Rockstar says this isn't the full collection and that more items will be added over time. That fits the leaks of the past few weeks, which pointed to roughly 55 unreleased products in Rockstar Store data, including parody tees, dad hats and sports items. Not all of those have appeared yet, so there's room for further drops. The bigger picture The launch is part of Rockstar's weekly Thursday cadence of GTA 6 announcements. It landed the same day as a first look at the game's radio stations, and a little under six weeks before Grand Theft Auto VI arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19. Some fans online have already joked that this line looks better than the Collector's Edition contents. Everything in the collection is available exclusively through the Rockstar Store. Stay with us for any new additions as they appear.

Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Morgan Wallen and More Join the GTA 6 Radio Lineup
Rockstar Games has pulled back the curtain on the sound of Grand Theft Auto VI, and the lineup is stacked with real-world music names. A new music page on the official site confirms six in-game radio stations, each with celebrity hosts and a short sample of what players can expect to hear in Leonida. Radio and podcasts, on foot or on wheelsRockstar describes the lineup as the biggest and most varied collection of in-game radio and podcasts the series has offered, spanning everything from classic rock to talk radio. The bigger gameplay news is that listening is no longer tied to the driver's seat. Rockstar confirmed that Jason and Lucia can use headphones and earbuds linked to their in-game smartphones, so radio and podcasts will play both in vehicles and while walking around. The game will also include on-demand podcasts that go beyond what's broadcast over the airwaves. Fans have asked for this kind of feature for years. Meet the stations Cocoteo FM covers modern Latin music, from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton. The hosts are El Martillo, played by Bad Bunny, and La Gata, played by RaiNao. Rockstar's tagline for the station promises a party that never shuts off. Back Country Radio is the home of renegade country. It's hosted by MW (Morgan Wallen) and Delta Dawne (Lana Del Rey), and it broadcasts across the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and beyond. The station also features a roving reporter and "swamp meteorologist" named Mud Dog Mike, who is Delta's not-so-secret lover and checks in from an airboat in the Grassrivers. He's voiced by Jeremy Dufrene, Del Rey's real-life husband. AfroBank FM is run by Burna (Burna Boy) and Palmsy (Palms Trax). The pair play African music from 20th-century classics and lesser-known gems through to amapiano and 3-step. The Chamber 106.6 is the metal station, hosted by DJ Kerry (Kerry King) and DJ Tom (Tom Araya). Expect classic metal from the '80s onward, with a nod to Leonida's deep metal roots. Flash FM returns as the Vice City pop institution, now hosted by Robyn and Alex Consani. Dirty South Classics is hosted by Trick and Trina and focuses on regional rap and hip-hop classics, repping Leonida and the South. What the talent is sayingRaiNao said Cocoteo FM captures Latin culture, including its slang, traditions and pride. She said she was never an extreme gamer, but that GTA was a favorite, and that being part of it is "mind-blowing." Why it mattersRadio has always been a defining part of Grand Theft Auto, and this reveal suggests Rockstar is expanding that idea rather than just repeating it. Between the genre spread, the big-name hosts and the new headphone and podcast options, the soundtrack looks set to be part of how players spend time in Leonida, not just background to the driving.

Rockstar Drops New GTA 6 Screenshots of Vice City Alongside Its Radio and Music Page
Rockstar Games has released a fresh batch of Grand Theft Auto VI screenshots, giving fans another look at Vice City as the game's release approaches. The images arrived with a new page on Rockstar's website dedicated to the music and radio stations of GTA VI. Three of the screenshots are standard in-game captures, and all of them can be viewed in full 4K resolution. Neon, puddles and crowds The new shots focus on atmosphere. Neon signs reflect in puddles on the pavement, and busy streets are packed with cars and pedestrians. After months of gameplay footage, trailers and leaks, a polished still frame still lets fans study the scale and density of the city without a camera moving past it. One screenshot also includes the game's two protagonists, Jason and Lucia, who can be spotted among the scenery. Rockstar hasn't pointed them out, so finding them is left to fans. Bonus in-engine images Alongside the three screenshots, Rockstar published three more images taken in-engine. These are background visuals made as promotional material for various in-game radio stations. They are heavily edited, so they don't represent the raw look of the game, but they do come from in-game assets. More GTA 6 news this week The release comes amid a busy stretch of GTA 6 news. A leak has reportedly revealed a Discord collaboration with Rockstar, and roughly 25 minutes of unreleased footage has surfaced, including what appears to be a first-person driving view. Neither has been officially confirmed by Rockstar. GTA VI is scheduled to launch on November 19.

Rockstar's GTA 6 Demo Shows Jason and Lucia Can Text, Call and Fall Out
A new batch of GTA 6 gameplay details has surfaced from an extended interview between IGN and Rob Nelson, Rockstar Games' Head of Development and Co-Studio Head. IGN was shown a live play session, with Nelson answering questions as he moved through a section of the game. A strange encounter in a dumpster The first notable moment came as Nelson played as Lucia and ran into a man in a dumpster. The scene offers a choice: hand him some pills or walk away. Players who return later can get legal advice from him, and they can also climb into the dumpster with him. The encounter was unscripted, which fits Rockstar's long habit of filling its worlds with odd, optional moments. Showers confirmed, with nudity Right after that scene, Nelson switched to Jason, who was in the shower and naked. This confirms that GTA 6 includes shower scenes with nudity, though the interview gives no further detail on how or where players will see them. Texting and calling between the leads The biggest systems news is how far communication between the protagonists goes. While you play as one of them, you can text or call the other at any time. IGN saw Lucia answer a message from Jason with "Sweet, I'll come to you." Those exchanges also feed into the relationship between the two. Players are free to spend an entire day apart, but the other character may check in. In one example, they text that they're heading to bed and locking up, and ask if you're okay. A short reply, such as "Ok, goodnight" or "I'll see you later," keeps things fine. Ignoring the message will chip away at their connection, though only slightly. Social media is look-only In-game social media works differently. Players can follow accounts and browse posts, but can't post updates as Jason or Lucia. What to take from it None of this changes the basic picture of GTA 6, but it adds depth to the two-protagonist setup. The relationship system now has small day-to-day consequences instead of resting only on story missions. Rockstar hasn't said how much a neglected relationship matters over a full playthrough. GTA 6 is scheduled for release on November 19. Source: IGN's interview with Rob Nelson.

View full article

GTA 6 Is Reportedly Taking Over Discord With a Limited-Time "Hexagon" Campaign
A new leak points to a collaboration between Rockstar Games and Discord, with Wumpus Central, a well-regarded Discord dataminer, finding parts of a GTA VI campaign in the latest build of the app. Wumpus Central says the references turned up in Discord's Canary build. The promotion is reportedly codenamed "Hexagon" and designed as a limited-time event. According to the leak, it would bring several GTA VI-themed cosmetic features to the app: A GTA VI app icon A GTA VI-themed app theme A custom display name font in the style of the game A possible Discord Quest with an as-yet-unknown reward Dates found in the code suggest the campaign would start on November 17, 2026 at 18:00 UTC, end for free users on December 8, and continue for Nitro subscribers until February 15, 2027. That timing puts the launch two days before GTA 6 releases on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Wumpus Central also shared a screenshot of the desktop theme, which reportedly uses a Vice City-style gradient. It's unclear what the Quest would ask users to do or what they'd earn. One outlet speculated the reward could be Discord Orbs, which can be spent in a possible GTA 6-themed shop, but nothing in the leak confirms that. Not Their First Team-UpRockstar and Discord have worked together before. Watching the first GTA VI trailer on Discord earned viewers a short Nitro subscription, and linking accounts earned GTA Online cash. The campaign also fits Rockstar's current marketing push. Recent activity has included exclusive cover stories, murals in New York and a Miami Heat collaboration with its own merchandise and a rooftop billboard. The leaked start date also falls a day before the Miami Heat's GTA 6-themed game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Treat It as a Leak for NowNeither Rockstar nor Discord has confirmed the collaboration. Dates and features found in unreleased code can change or be scrapped before launch. The leak has also prompted some talk about a future PC version, but the datamine offers no concrete evidence that a PC release is coming sooner than expected. If the details hold, Discord users will be able to show off their GTA 6 hype with a themed app within weeks.

Xbox's GTA 6 Cloud Streaming Deal Is Real, But "Exclusive" Isn't
A report that Xbox had locked up exclusive streaming rights to Grand Theft Auto VI lit up the community on Tuesday. Within hours, the claim was being scaled back by the reporter who broke it and by Xbox's own strategy chief. What was reported The Verge reported on Tuesday that Xbox had landed exclusive game streaming rights for GTA 6, with Xbox Cloud Gaming as the only way to stream the game when it launches on November 19. The report said Xbox CEO Asha Sharma told employees at an internal all-hands meeting that Microsoft was doing something around GTA 6 that "no other platform holder is doing." The implications looked big. The arrangement would have let players reach GTA 6 through Xbox's cloud service on supported PCs, smart TVs and mobile devices rather than needing a console. That mattered because Rockstar Games has not announced a PC version of the game. The walk-back The framing didn't hold. Xbox Chief Strategy Officer Matthew Ball responded to the report by saying Xbox is looking forward to launching GTA VI on November 19, "though the game will not be streaming exclusively or to PC." Tom Warren said he corrected his story because the Xbox cloud streaming rights deal appears to be more complicated than he originally reported. Some outlets also reported the arrangement as non-exclusive. One report said the deal appears to cover Xbox console streaming specifically, which suggests players on web browsers or mobile apps may not be able to stream GTA 6 that way. No one has publicly detailed exactly what the deal covers, and neither Xbox nor Rockstar has confirmed the arrangement. Why it matters The timing is notable. Microsoft is preparing to sell streaming hour packages, and Xbox is due to introduce a pay-as-you-go cloud option in November. Game Pass subscribers will also face monthly streaming limits starting that month: five hours on Essential, 10 on Premium and 15 on Ultimate. It is also unconfirmed whether or how either change would apply to GTA 6. There is also a catch for anyone hoping to dodge a console. Players would need to buy a copy of GTA 6 on Xbox, and with no PC version announced, it's unclear that the purchase would carry over to PC later. What's confirmed GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC release yet to be announced. Beyond that, the cloud streaming picture is still unsettled. Whether Xbox has any exclusivity, how long it lasts, and which devices are covered are all open questions until Rockstar or Xbox says more. We'll update this story as official details emerge.
