A new GTA 6 pre-order incentive has turned up, and so far it is more mystery than substance. According to a member of the Rockstar Games community on Discord, Walmart's backend systems list an exclusive bonus for pre-orders placed through the retailer. It would sit on top of the Vintage Vice City pack that every pre-order customer is set to receive.
What the leak shows
An image circulating on X, posted by @nxrcssist and amplified by @smallo92, describes a "surprise and delight offer" tied to qualifying GTA 6 pre-orders. It applies to both the PS5 and Xbox versions. The listing says the extra will arrive inside "one GMD bag," shorthand for a General Merchandise Delivery bag. Beyond that, the contents are not named.
What could be inside
Fans are already guessing, but Walmart's history suggests modest expectations. The retailer used nearly identical wording for the Nintendo Switch 2 launch, where the "surprise" was a snack and a drink. Pringles and Coke have been a past pairing. Based on that precedent, a GTA-branded collectible or exclusive in-game item looks unlikely. A bag of snacks looks more plausible, though nothing has been confirmed by Walmart or Rockstar.
When you can get it
Code-in-box pre-orders can be picked up starting Thursday, November 12, and that is also when customers should receive the surprise bag. That date lines up with codes landing in people's hands and pre-loading opening up ahead of launch. The game has been confirmed as a 210GB download, so players have a comfortable window to prepare before release day on November 19.
The bottom line
Treat this as an unconfirmed leak from retailer backend data. The existence of a Walmart-only extra looks credible, but what's in the bag will stay a guess until November 12 or an official announcement, whichever comes first.
