Find the Flow Controller in Arc Raiders | U4GM

The Flow Controller has a nasty habit of turning a quick Stella Montis objective into a full raid detour. The best first check is the upper Lobby on Level 3, where the circular sofas can hide the item in plain sight; the wider ARC Raiders Items pool helps explain why players often search the wrong room first. From what I've seen, the Lobby is the strongest opening play, but it isn't a guaranteed spawn, so your route needs a backup plan.

Start With the Sofas, Not the Crates

Enter Stella Montis and push toward the Lobby, then climb to the upper section. Check every circular sofa, the floor beside each seat, and the nearby furniture before you sprint toward conventional loot containers. The Flow Controller is small enough to disappear against indoor props, and a fast crosshair sweep can miss it even when the room looks untouched.

After the seating area, search containers around the Security Checkpoint. This gives you a compact opening loop instead of a noisy full-map roam. Keep your camera low near furniture, pause at corners, and confirm the pickup prompt before moving on. Another raider may have cleared the room already, so an empty Lobby doesn't prove your route was wrong.

Three Stops, One Practical Order

Older advice often sends players straight to Medical Research or Assembly Workshops. Those areas still make sense as secondary checks, but the order matters because crossing Stella Montis burns time, exposes you to ARC threats, and gives other raiders more chances to reach the same loot.

The Mistake That Costs the Most Time

Players often search Assembly Workshops only at ground level, decide the location is empty, and leave. Check the upstairs section before rotating away. Medical Research deserves a similar slow pass: don't inspect only the largest boxes, because objective loot can sit on low surfaces or blend into lab furniture.

Leave an inventory slot open before entering Stella Montis.
Check the Level 3 sofas from both sides.
Search the Security Checkpoint before making a long rotation.
Inspect the upper floor of Assembly Workshops.
Extract soon after securing the Flow Controller.

Pair It With Snap and Salvage

The Flow Controller is commonly tied to the Snap and Salvage quest, which also asks for a Magnetron and other Stella Montis objectives. Use one raid for several jobs when possible: handle the rover photograph in the Sandbox, search the Security Checkpoint for documents, then work through the Lobby and backup rooms. This saves you from repeating the same dangerous approach for every item.

When the Lobby Is Already Empty

A late arrival changes the problem. Someone may have taken the Flow Controller before you reached Level 3, so don't spend the entire raid staring at cleared sofas. Move to Assembly Workshops, check upstairs, then sweep Medical Research if your route remains safe. Night conditions can make furniture and containers harder to read, so a normal raid is often better for learning the building, while experienced players can use a Night Raid for a more deliberate attempt.

Leave With the Item

Finding the Flow Controller only matters after a successful extraction. Once it enters your inventory, stop chasing extra loot, avoid unnecessary fights, and choose the safest exit available rather than the shortest-looking line. Cooperation from another raider can sometimes save the search, but it isn't a plan you can count on. For players preparing future quest runs, ARC Raiders buy BluePrints options may help organize the rest of the loadout, but the Stella Montis priority remains simple: Level 3 sofas, Security Checkpoint, Assembly upstairs, then Medical Research.
