A new GTA Online weekly update has kicked off, bringing Independence Day rewards, steep discounts, and a wave of bonuses ahead of a bigger update on the horizon. This is a shorter event week, running July 9th through July 13th, as Rockstar gears up for The Kortz Center Heist next month.
Gameplay Improvements on the Way
Rockstar used this week's newswire post to reaffirm its commitment to improving the overall GTA Online experience, citing ongoing efforts around bug fixes, general improvements, and cracking down on cheaters and harassers. The studio confirmed players can expect several experience improvements to land alongside The Kortz Center Heist when it launches later this month.
Weekly Rewards
Logging in this week nets players the Lady Liberty Bucket Hat. There's also a guaranteed reward from Business Battles — either the Pißwasser, Benedict, Patriot, or Supa Wet Beer Hats, or the Statue of Happiness T-Shirt.
Fine Art Collector Program
Ahead of The Kortz Center Heist, Rockstar has launched the Fine Art Collector Program, offering a tiered set of rewards:
