GTA Online Dispatch Work: A Full Guide to Vincent's & Madrazo's Missions

A common point of confusion for players is that there are two different types of "Dispatch" missions in GTA Online. This guide will cover both: the modern "Dispatch Work" for Vincent and the classic "Dispatch" contact missions from Martin Madrazo.

๐Ÿ‘ฎ Vincent's "Dispatch Work" (Vigilante Missions)

This is the newer set of freemode missions added with the Bottom Dollar Bounties update. These are quick, solo-friendly vigilante-style jobs you can run from your personal police car.

How to Start Vincent's Dispatch Work

You must complete two prerequisites before you can begin:

  1. Complete the "Slush Fund" Mission: You must first play through the Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid as a leader at least once. This is the first setup mission for the raid, which is started by a call from Vincent.

  2. Buy a Personal Police Vehicle: After completing "Slush Fund," you will unlock the ability to purchase law enforcement vehicles from Warstock Cache & Carry. You must own one of the following:

    • Gauntlet Interceptor

    • Unmarked Cruiser

    • Stanier LE Cruiser

    • Greenwood Cruiser

    • Dorado Cruiser

    • Impaler SZ Cruiser

Once you own one of these cars, get in it and make sure you are not registered as a CEO, VIP, or MC President. You will then be prompted to press a button to begin Dispatch Work (Right-stick on console, or 'B' on PC). Vincent will then call you with a mission.

Payout and Cooldown

  • Payout: Each mission gives a flat rate of $25,000, regardless of how long it takes. This can be doubled or tripled during special event weeks.

  • Cooldown: There is a very short cooldown of approximately 1 minute between missions, making them highly repeatable.

Mission Types

There are four random missions Vincent will send you on:

  • Civil Disturbance: Travel to a location and take out a group of specified targets.

  • Possession for Sale: Go to a location, eliminate the criminals, and steal a package of drugs. You must then deliver this package to a drop-off point.

  • Malicious Mischief: A gang is planting bombs. Head to the site, clear out the enemies, and disarm the bombs (this requires a simple button-press minigame at each bomb site).

  • Officer Monitored: Infiltrate an area to find and retrieve a piece of evidence. This is often a laptop or briefcase, which you must then deliver to a drop-off location.

Unlocking Police Vehicle Trade Prices

Completing this work is the only way to unlock the Trade Prices for other police vehicles:

  • Greenwood Cruiser: Complete 5 Dispatch Work missions.

  • Dorado Cruiser: Complete the "Officer Monitored" mission.

  • Impaler SZ Cruiser: Complete the "Possession for Sale" mission.

๐Ÿคต Martin Madrazo's "Dispatch" Missions (Contact Missions)

These are the older, classic contact missions. They are assassination-focused missions that can be played with multiple people.

How to Start Madrazo's Dispatch Missions

You can start these missions in one of two ways:

  1. Pause Menu: Go to Pause > Online > Jobs > Play Job > Rockstar Created > Missions > and select "Dispatch I," "Dispatch II," "Dispatch III," "Dispatch IV," "Dispatch V," or "Dispatch VI."

  2. On the Map: Go to the "Mz" (Martin Madrazo) icon at his house in the Vinewood Hills and walk into the mission marker.

Payout and Player Count

  • Player Count: These missions were originally 2-4 players, but have since been updated. All six missions can be played 1-4 players, making them completely solo-friendly.

  • Payout: This is the standard time-based payout for contact missions. The longer you take (up to 15 minutes) and the higher the difficulty, the more cash and RP you will earn.

The 6 "Dispatch" Missions

  1. Dispatch I: Go to the Mission Row police station, find the target (a high-profile snitch) in a holding cell, and eliminate him. Be prepared for a heavy police response.

  2. Dispatch II: Infiltrate the Merryweather HQ at the docks, locate the target inside the main office, and take him out.

  3. Dispatch III: The target is at a hangar in Los Santos International Airport (LSIA). You must eliminate him before he escapes.

  4. Dispatch IV: Head to the recycling plant in La Puerta. The target is hidden deep inside the facility.

  5. Dispatch V: This mission is different, as you are tasked with eliminating five targets spread across various rooftops and high-security locations in the city.

  6. Dispatch VI: Your goal is to intercept and destroy an armed convoy. This is the only mission of the set that is mobile.

Tips for Madrazo's Missions

  • Use Armored Vehicles: An Armored Kuruma makes most of these missions trivial, as you can drive into the compounds and shoot enemies from complete safety.

  • Use Weaponized Aircraft: For missions with outdoor targets like Dispatch III and V, an Oppressor Mk II or Deluxo makes reaching and eliminating the targets incredibly fast and easy.

  • Set to Hard: For the best payout, always set the difficulty to Hard. If you are using an armored vehicle, the difficulty increase is barely noticeable.

Here is a video from YouTube that shows how to start the new 'Dispatch Work' missions with Vincent.
