Spoiler Warning: This is a complete story walkthrough with every major puzzle solution, key item location, enemy tip, and collectible note. It covers the entire main campaign (approx. 12-15 hours on Standard).
The game alternates between two protagonists:
Grace Ashcroft (new FBI analyst) – First-person survival horror (RE7/Village style). Limited inventory (8 slots), focus on evasion, crafting, and resource management.
Leon S. Kennedy – Third-person action (RE4 Remake style). Larger inventory, knife parries, aggressive combat.
General Tips
Typewriters are your save points (unlimited ink ribbons).
Collect 25 Mr. Raccoon statues (shoot/knife them) for the “Bobblehead Hunter” trophy.
75 Files, 21 Antique Coins (upgrade shop), 5 Safes, 3 BSAA Containers, 9 Plant Seedlings for 100%.
Grace: Always check every drawer, desk, and corpse. Combine herbs early.
Leon: Headshots stagger zombies for easy melee kills.
The Girl (main enemy in Rhodes Hill) is light-sensitive – stay in darkness or use flashbangs.
Difficulty carries over between characters; New Game+ unlocks after credits.
1. Wrenwood Hotel & Elbridge (Prologue)

Protagonist: Grace → Leon
Grace – Wrenwood Hotel
Follow the road to the hotel. Optional: read the missing-person poster.
Enter through the front door. Explore the kitchen (no key items).
Read the Investigation Report in your inventory (prompted).
Behind the bar: examine the taped photo on the wall → flip it to find the Bar Key.
Unlock the door behind the bar → enter the lobby/office area.

Wrenwood Hotel Floor Plan (wall in office)
Go upstairs. Grab Wire Cutters from the box on the left.
Use Wire Cutters on the blocked hallway → proceed to Room 204.
Examine photos on the bed → flashback sequence with Grace’s mother.
Leave Room 204, go downstairs. Move the coat stand to find a hidden Pouch.
Inside: Alyssa’s Journal + Disc.
Zombie ambush! Dodge the first attack (left/right), struggle to break free. Grace automatically obtains the Emergency Exit Key from the zombie.
Run upstairs and use the Emergency Exit Key on the locked emergency door → escape the hotel.
Leon – Elbridge Streets
Run forward through the zombie-infested street.
Headshot zombies to stagger, then melee finish (they drop handgun ammo).
Grab Green Herb from the open trunk on the right.
No major puzzles – just progress to the next cutscene (story swap back to Grace).
Collectibles here: 1 Mr. Raccoon (hotel lobby), 3 Files.
2. Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center – Part 1: The Girl
Protagonist: Grace (main hub for the next several sections)
Grace wakes up in the ruined mental institution. Victor Gideon and the hulking bioweapon “The Girl” are introduced.
Main Objective: Restore power and reach the central exit door.
Explore the starting room. Grab the Cherub Key from Room 201.
Use Cherub Key on the power room door.
Find the Fuse (in the generator room – check high shelf with screwdriver if needed).
Insert Fuse → power restored.
The Girl appears (light-sensitive monster). Stay in dark corridors or use flashbangs to stun her.
Collectibles: First Antique Coin, 2 Mr. Raccoons.
3. Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center – Part 2: Quartz Pieces & Victor’s Office

Protagonist: Grace
Main Objective: Collect all three Quartz pieces (Moon, Sun, Star) to open the central exit door.
Moon Quartz (Chairman’s Office) Use pencil on the notebook to reveal the clue: Moon – Sun – Star – Moon.
Sun Quartz (Lead Researcher’s Office) Use acid to melt the padlock on the cabinet. Clue: Star – Sun – Moon – Sun.
Star Quartz (Security Room) Involves the child NPC Emily. Clue: Star – Star – Moon – Sun.
Insert all three Quartz into the central door panel in the order shown on the clues (or trial-and-error with journal hints). Door opens.
Side puzzles:
Kitchen Chef zombie (Chunk) – use environmental traps or headshots.
Blister Heads (acid-spitting) – avoid close range.
Victor’s Office: Read files for story, grab higher-clearance wristband.
Collectibles: 4 Mr. Raccoons, multiple Files, 2 Antique Coins.
4. Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center – Basement & Attic

Protagonist: Grace
Basement
Rescue companion Emily from cells while avoiding The Girl.
Nefarious puzzles involving joint plugs and square socket wrench (rotate valves in sequence from journal).
Garage / Isolation Ward / Attic
Organ Transport Box Puzzle (attic):
Turn knob to “Hand” position.
Set switches: Right Up, Middle Up, 5th Up, 2nd Up.
Turn knob back to “Auto”.
Place organs in correct order (notebook clues).
Fight a mini-boss variant of The Girl → obtain higher wristband clearance.
Collectibles: Safe (code from files), 3 Mr. Raccoons.
5. Rhodes Hill – Courtyard, Chapel & Water Treatment Plant

Protagonist: Grace → Leon
Courtyard: Find Helicopter Key.
Chapel: Light-sensitive puzzles.
Water Treatment Plant (Leon takes over briefly): Snipe enemies from afar, tragedy cutscene.
Boss encounter with upgraded The Girl.
Collectibles: 2 Antique Coins, 1 BSAA Container.
6. East Raccoon City

Protagonist: Leon
Explore nuked outskirts. Bypass the main gate.
Motorcycle chase sequence (dodge obstacles, shoot pursuers).
First major nostalgia section – familiar streets from RE2/3.
7. Raccoon City Center (RPD & Orphanage)

Protagonist: Leon → Grace
Raccoon Police Department (RPD): Classic RE2 layout references.
Open security doors with STARS office key.
Tyrant-style chase in the parking garage.
Possible “Jojo locker” scavenger hunt for extra weapons.
Orphanage: Grace sections with heavy story revelations about her past and Umbrella experiments.
Collectibles: Many Files here (lore-heavy), 5 Mr. Raccoons.
8. Crater Center – ARK (Final Area)

Protagonist: Leon & Grace (frequent swaps)
Descend into the crater to the underground Umbrella facility “ARK”.
Major revelations about Project Elpis and Grace’s mother.
Linear path with escalating bioweapon fights.
Final boss (two-phase fight involving both protagonists).
Multiple endings based on collectibles and choices (New Game+ recommended for the true ending).
Post-Credits: Teaser for future content.
