Rockstar Games has handed fans another small batch of GTA 6 material, this time through a fashion and culture magazine. LOVE magazine published an exclusive feature on Grand Theft Auto VI on Friday, complete with two previously unseen screenshots and a cover starring Lucia and Jason.

What's in the issue

Issue 27 of LOVE pairs the new imagery with interviews from a range of writers discussing the game, including Rob Nelson, Co-Studio Head and Head of Development at Rockstar North. The cover art and screenshots are available to view in the gallery above.

It's the latest in a run of magazine-driven GTA 6 reveals. Following the Game Informer cover story and the Dazed autumn issue, the LOVE feature continues Rockstar's pattern of using print and editorial partners to drip-feed new looks at the game ahead of its November 19 release.

Rockstar's writers on the game's tone

An excerpt from the feature has been released, featuring Rockstar's narrative team explaining the thinking behind GTA 6's world and characters.

Rupert Humphries, Senior Vice President of Narrative at Rockstar Games, says the setting is meant to be a pressure cooker, and that a game recreating today's world has to push things further than reality itself, or players could simply step outside. He describes Lucia as a character defined by her determination to build a better life and refusing to let obstacles stand in her way. In his view, there's something hopeful and naïve about a crime spree on the run, and the modern American dream has become more modest: a family home and debts paid off rather than spectacular success. He singles out Miami and southern Florida as a front line in that struggle.

Writer Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern explains that the team wanted both protagonists to be vulnerable, tough and flawed, sometimes right and sometimes wrong, and able to learn from one another. That, she says, is what makes them authentic and a strong team.

Fellow writer Alexa D'Agostino adds that when writing a fully realized person with their own desires, the result is bound to be "perfectly imperfect," a mix of cliché and something undeniably real.

What it means for fans

The quotes reinforce what Rockstar has been signaling across recent interviews: a heightened but grounded take on modern America, with Jason and Lucia's partnership at the heart of the story. With release day now weeks away, expect more of these editorial drops to follow.

In other recent GTA 6 coverage, a mural is being painted in New York City, and Rockstar has teamed up with the Miami Heat for a special Vice City collaboration.
