Grand Theft Auto VI is getting its own piece of official hardware, and it's coming straight from PlayStation. During Thursday's State of Play broadcast, Sony and Rockstar Games jointly unveiled the Grand Theft Auto VI Limited-Edition DualSense Wireless Controllers, two custom pads designed to tie directly into the game's Vice City setting.
Design and Features

The controllers come in two color options — black and white — each built on the standard DualSense shell but dressed up with GTA VI-specific styling. The standout feature is a shimmering, color-shifting gradient across the lower portion of each controller, blending blue, pink, and purple tones meant to evoke a Vice City sunset fading into neon nightlife. Both versions also feature raised palm tree molding on the grips for a distinct tactile feel, along with a large "VI" logo printed on the touchpad. The face buttons and d-pad are finished in pink to match the overall aesthetic.
According to PlayStation's official blog, the two colorways are meant to represent contrasting sides of Vice City: "the black and white limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers each capture the essence of Vice City, from bright days along the coast to vibrant city nights." Beyond the cosmetic changes, the controllers retain full support for the DualSense's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, which Rockstar has said will play a central role in how GTA VI's action feels in players' hands.
Pricing and Availability

Both controllers are priced at $84.99 USD (£74.99 / €84.99), with pre-orders opening September 10 at 10:00 AM local time through PlayStation Direct in supported regions, as well as select participating retailers. Given the scale of anticipation around GTA 6, and the fact that these are confirmed limited-run items, demand is expected to be intense — with some early reporting suggesting the black variant in particular may be harder to secure.
Both controllers are set to launch on November 19, 2026, the same day Grand Theft Auto VI arrives on PlayStation 5.
The reveal continues a pattern established throughout GTA 6's marketing cycle, with PlayStation holding a prominent promotional partnership around the game's launch — from trailer capture on PS5 hardware to repeated claims that GTA 6 "plays best" on Sony's console. These controllers give that partnership its most tangible form yet.
