Rockstar Pulls Back the Curtain on GTA 6 with New Dazed Photoshoot and Cover Art

Rockstar Games has released a fresh batch of GTA 6 imagery, and this time the studio didn't just drop it through its usual channels — it went through a fashion magazine. In an unusual move for the notoriously tight-lipped developer, Rockstar sat down with Dazed for the outlet's autumn 2026 issue, handing over new screenshots and a striking new piece of cover art featuring Jason and Lucia.

The cover illustration places the pair in Vice City wearing new looks, continuing the visual language Rockstar has used in prior key art while still offering something fans haven't seen before. Dazed brands the couple as its "new idols" for the issue, name-checking both characters directly on the cover.

The screenshots themselves lean into a photoshoot aesthetic rather than in-game action shots, styled more like editorial fashion photography than a typical marketing drop. Alongside Jason and Lucia in outfits pulled from the game's Ultimate Edition and pre-order bonuses, Rockstar used the opportunity to show off supporting characters Roxy, Raul Bautista, Boobie Ike, and Bae-Luxe. Each image comes captioned with a full outfit breakdown, crediting the in-universe designers responsible for each piece — a detail that underscores how much thought Rockstar has put into GTA 6's fashion ecosystem, from established labels like Ferruccio Tucci and Nola to smaller in-world brands like Caliber and This/That.

It's a departure from how Rockstar has typically rolled out GTA 6 material. Rather than a trailer drop or a blog post on its own site, the studio chose to filter this reveal through a culture and fashion publication, which suggests it's leaning into the game's Vice City glamour and style as a selling point in its own right, not just its open-world scale or crime-saga plot.

The Dazed feature arrives the same week Rockstar has been fielding a wave of unauthorized gameplay leaks, and just ahead of the "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look" trailer premiering on Netflix. Whether intentional counter-programming or simple scheduling, the timing puts a polished, official image back in the conversation right as fan attention has been consumed by leaked footage.

GTA 6 remains set for release on November 19.
