Rockstar Games has officially announced the next major GTA Online update: The Kortz Center Heist. Slated for release in July 2026, this long-awaited content drop marks the first proper heist in nearly six years, bringing fresh high-stakes criminal action to Los Santos.
Targeting Los Santos’ Premier Art Gallery
Perched on the hills of Pacific Bluffs, the world-famous Kortz Center has long been a landmark in the GTA universe. Known for its priceless international art collection, the gallery is now the prime target for players looking to pull off their next big score.
The heist will revolve around raiding this prestigious venue. Players will purchase an Art Studio upgrade for their Mansion property, which serves as the planning hub. From there, they’ll analyze the target, select an approach, and execute the multi-stage operation—either solo or with a crew of up to four players.
Rockstar has teased that more details on gameplay mechanics, approaches, and rewards will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Preparation and Lead-Up Events
In the lead-up to the July release, Rockstar plans to roll out heist preparations through in-game activities. Expect:
Special events with big bonuses and rewards.
Record-breaking discounts, including a GTA$2,000,000 reduction on mansions for GTA+ members.
A 40% bonus on all Shark Card purchases, available to everyone regardless of GTA+ status.
The launch of a new Fine Art Collector program, allowing players to claim rare and exclusive treasures.
These incentives are designed to help players gear up for the new content.
Release Date and Platforms
The Kortz Center Heist update is scheduled to drop on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. This timing aligns with the end of the current GTA+ benefits cycle. The update will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
It remains unclear whether pre-loading will be available ahead of launch.
