GTA Online: The Kortz Center Heist Arrives Next Week — Full Details Revealed

Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the next major GTA Online update, The Kortz Center Heist, and it's landing sooner than many expected. The developer made the announcement Thursday, laying out release timing and a full breakdown of what players can expect from this summer's DLC after weeks of teasers.

What Is The Kortz Center Heist About?

The new update pairs players with returning characters Mr. Faber and Raf De Angelis for a high-stakes museum job. The setup involves staking out the Kortz Center, scoping its layout, and plotting a precise approach before making off with some of the venue's most valuable art. Beyond the heist itself, the update also brings new mansion content, vehicles, and more to GTA Online.

A New Purchasable Art Studio

Central to the update is the Art Studio, a new space expansion for Mansion owners. Once built out, the Studio becomes home to a resident counterfeiter who crafts forged replacements for the pieces players plan to steal — effectively an in-house specialist supporting the operation. Preparing for the heist means stockpiling gear and tech inside the Studio, which players and their crew can then draw from when assembling loadouts for the Finale.

Heists can be tackled solo or with up to three other players, and bringing extra hands may help crews escape with a larger haul. Raf De Angelis acts as the mission's point of contact, feeding reconnaissance and intel throughout, while the Mansion's AI Assistant also plays a supporting role during preparation.

Players who don't yet own a Mansion still have a window to jump in via a limited-time bonus GTA$ offer, and Rockstar notes that the Richman Villa in Vinewood Hills — sold through Prix Luxury Real Estate — sits just a short drive from the Kortz Center itself.

Rather than immediately selling off stolen art to Mr. Faber's clients, players can instead choose to display trophies and stolen paintings inside their Art Studio. The best payout comes from the first sale each week, but three new Primary Target paintings will rotate in weekly, along with substantial variation in how each can be approached — building in long-term replay value. Several of the collectible paintings reportedly include easter eggs referencing GTA, Red Dead Redemption, and other Rockstar titles.

How the Heist Plays Out

Set in the Kortz Center in Pacific Bluffs, the heist begins with a scouting phase: players can wander the gallery, photograph paintings without tipping off security, and map viable entry and exit routes. Beyond the main target, the gallery is stocked with additional fine art that can be grabbed as Secondary Targets, adding extra profit for crews willing to scope thoroughly.

Stealth matters throughout — art that's flagged as stolen sells for less on the secondary market, so wiping security footage and avoiding witnesses will directly affect the size of the payout.

New Vehicles and Extras

The update introduces several new vehicles, headlined by the Grotti Veleno GT, alongside additional supercars and new options compatible with Drift and Hao's Special Works upgrades. GTA+ subscribers will get the Veleno GT for free as part of the new GTA+ month starting July 14th, with a one-week exclusivity window before it becomes purchasable for everyone else. Rockstar has also teased additional updates to the Rockstar Mission Creator tied to this release.

Release Date and Pre-Load Details

The Kortz Center Heist launches Tuesday, July 14th, at the usual 10am BST update time. It's not yet confirmed whether pre-loading will be available — Rockstar didn't offer it for the previous major update. The DLC's arrival coincides with a new Event Week and GTA+ month, both also kicking off around the same time.
